Once a month, the Gramin bank, which created the micro credits idea, opens her gate to the countryside women.
Each of them have a notebook, with what the bank had given, what she gave back.
A long queue all during the morning, and of course, they all come with their more beautiful clothes.

A l'occasion de Kartik Purnima, la nuit de pleine lune du mois de Kartika, des milliers de pélerins viennent prendre un bain dans le lac sacré de Pushkar, qui serait aussi le seul lieu en Inde ou un temple est dédié à Brahma.

On the occasion of Kartik Purnima, the full moon night of the month of Kartika, thousands of pilgrims come to have a bath in the holy lake of Pushkar, which would also be the only place in India where a temple is dedicated to Brahma.

Ma soeur Anne, ne vois-tu rien venir? Bundi


Il n'y a pas qu'à Jodhpur que les maisons sont bleues....aurefois signe distinctif des demeures des brahmanes, l'usage de cette couleur s'est maintenant généralisée.
La photo est prise de la rue, les grandes soeurs (pas visibles ici) sont ensuite descendues por m'inviter à entrer.
Bundi est plus authentique que les villes plus connues du rajasthan; mais je ne donne pas beaucoup de temps avant que celà ne change!

There is only in Jodhpur that houses are blue; first reserved to the houses of Brahmans, the custom of this color now became widespread.
The photo is taken by the street, the older sisters (not visible here) then came down(fell) por to invite me to enter.
Bundi is more authentic than cities more known for the rajasthan; but I do not look a lot of time before changing!
