Gramin bank day. Pushkar

Once a month, the Gramin bank, which created the micro credits idea, opens her gate to the countryside women.
Each of them have a notebook, with what the bank had given, what she gave back.
A long queue all during the morning, and of course, they all come with their more beautiful clothes.
Just one thing; why the gramin bank trust more women???

Ma soeur Anne, ne vois-tu rien venir? Bundi

There is only in Jodhpur that houses are blue; first reserved to the houses of Brahmans, the custom of this color now became widespread.
The photo is taken by the street, the older sisters (not visible here) then came down(fell) por to invite me to enter.
Bundi is more authentic than cities more known for the rajasthan; but I do not look a lot of time before changing!

Sweeping. Khuri

In the desert of Rajasthan, it is the women who build houses, decorate them it is doubtless the reason for which these adopt feminine forms, without real right angles.
Naturally the reason is also the nature of the used material, the pisé, the clay, the straw, the dung of cow there which makes of the masonry a sort of modelling.
